Aus den zun\u00e4chst 4000 m\u00b2 Baumschulfl\u00e4che wuchs der Betrieb auf heute 7,5 Hektar, die \u00a0biologisch &#8211; organisch bewirtschaftet werden.<\/p>\n<p>Unsere 7000 m\u00b2 gro\u00dfe Container- und Staudenanzuchtfl\u00e4che wurde in den letzten zehn Jahren konsequent auf Flie\u00dfmattenbew\u00e4sserung umgestellt, um wassersparend zu wirtschaften und eine gleichm\u00e4\u00dfige, arbeitssparende Bew\u00e4sserung zu erreichen.<\/p>\n<p>Etwa ein Viertel der Freilandfl\u00e4che wird f\u00fcr Gr\u00fcnd\u00fcngung genutzt \u2013 mit dieser Vier-Felder-Wirtschaft (einj\u00e4hrige Gr\u00fcnd\u00fcngung nach dreij\u00e4hriger Baumschulkultur) liefert die Gr\u00fcnd\u00fcngung einen Gro\u00dfteil der ben\u00f6tigten organischen Substanz und der N\u00e4hrstoffe.<br \/>\nAls Ersatz f\u00fcr verlorenes Ballenerdreich setzen wir Mulchmaterial ein, das im Winter nach der Pflanzung in die mechanisch krautfrei gehaltenen Best\u00e4nde eingebracht wird. Dar\u00fcber hinaus h\u00e4lt es die Quartiere im zweiten und dritten Standjahr krautfrei und sch\u00fctzt vor Austrocknung , so da\u00df selbst in den trockenen Sommern unsere leichten B\u00f6den nicht gew\u00e4ssert werden brauchen.<\/p>\n<p>Auch bei der Kultivierung achten wir auf eine nachhaltige Arbeitsweise: Kletterpflanzen, Bodendecker sowie Stauden, Gr\u00e4ser und Kr\u00e4uter werden daher zu einem Teil in Kokosfaser-T\u00f6pfen kultiviert. Unsere Topferde ist torffrei und enth\u00e4lt neben Komposten auch Kokos- und Holzfasern, sowie organischen D\u00fcnger.<\/p>\n<p>Eine weitere Besonderheit ist die hofeigene 150 KW Windkraftanlage, durch die wir den betriebseigenen Transport seit 1993 zu einem Gro\u00dfteil mit Elektrofahrzeugen durchf\u00fchren k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p><\/li><br \/>\n<li id=\"2\" class=\"\">Nehmen Sie sich einen Augenblick Zeit und erfahren Sie mehr \u00fcber die \u00f6kologische Produktion von Geh\u00f6lzen.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #009966;\"><strong>Die aktuelle Situation der konventionellen Baumschulwirtschaft<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Die Baumschulwirtschaft hat sich \u00e4hnlich der Landwirtschaft in den letzten Jahrzehnten durch die Mechanisierung und den Einsatz von chemisch-synthetischen Pflanzenbehandlungsmitteln und D\u00fcngern stark ver\u00e4ndert. Durch den Einsatz von Pestiziden wird das Bodenleben und die Bodenfruchtbarkeit gesch\u00e4digt. Pestizide, Phosphor und Stickstoff aus der D\u00fcngung belasten das Grundwasser und \u00fcberd\u00fcngen Flie\u00dfgew\u00e4sser und Meere. Die Vernichtung wertvoller Lebensr\u00e4ume gef\u00e4hrdet unsere Artenvielfalt.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #009966;\">Vorteile des \u00f6kologischen Geh\u00f6lzanbaus<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>gesunde Pflanzenqualit\u00e4t<\/li>\n<li>Natur- und Umweltschutzleistung<\/li>\n<li>kontrolliert \u00f6kologischer Anbau<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #009966;\"><strong>Die Qualit\u00e4t der \u00f6kologisch kultivierten Geh\u00f6lze<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00d6kologisch gezogene Geh\u00f6lze besitzen erfa\u00dfbar bessere Qualit\u00e4ten als konventionell intensiv geschulte: H\u00f6here Vitalit\u00e4t und Frische mit einer gr\u00f6\u00dferen Widerstandsf\u00e4higkeit und Krankheitsresistenz kennzeichnen die hohe innere Qualit\u00e4t der \u00f6kologisch gezogenen Geh\u00f6lze. Pflanzen im \u00f6kologischen Anbau m\u00fcssen, im Gegensatz zu den hochged\u00fcngten Pflanzen im konventionellen Anbau, den N\u00e4hrstoffen nachwachsen. Die Pflanzen bilden daher eine h\u00f6here Wurzeldichte mit einem h\u00f6heren Feinwurzelanteil aus. Dies wirkt sich positiv auf die Anwuchssicherheit der Geh\u00f6lze aus. Durch geringere Ausfallraten sind die Folgekosten f\u00fcr den K\u00e4ufer niedriger.<\/p>\n<p>In wissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen wurde deutlich, da\u00df der betonte Einsatz von mineralischen D\u00fcngern und der Kontakt mit Pflanzenbehandlungsmitteln die aktive Resistenz der Pflanzen gegen\u00fcber Stre\u00dffaktoren wie Krankheiten und Trockenheit deutlich abschw\u00e4cht und zum Teil zu Minderwuchs f\u00fchren kann. Der Einsatz von chemisch-synthetischen Pflanzenbehandlungsmitteln in der Geh\u00f6lzproduktion ist damit nicht nur unsinnig, sondern kann dem eigentlichen Ziel, dem Schutz der Pflanzen entgegenstehen. Die erreichte \u00e4u\u00dfere Qualit\u00e4t der Geh\u00f6lze aus \u00f6kologischem Anbau erf\u00fcllt die Qualit\u00e4tskriterien der G\u00fctebestimmungen verschiedener Organisationen (z.B. den \u201cBund deutscher Baumschulen = BDB).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #009966;\"><strong>Verwendete Materialien &amp; Methoden in biologisch produzierenden Baumschulen<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr die Topferde wird ein weitgehender Verzicht auf Torf angestrebt. Stattdessen finden verschiedene andere Zuschlagsstoffe, wie z.B. Holzfasern oder Rindenprodukte zunehmend Verwendung. Der Verzicht auf leicht-l\u00f6sliche D\u00fcngemittel bewirkt auch hier, da\u00df die Pflanzen den N\u00e4hrstoffen hinterherwachsen m\u00fcssen und dadurch hohe Widerstandskr\u00e4fte entwickeln.<\/p>\n<p>Eine wassersparende Bew\u00e4sserungstechnik und durch Tr\u00f6pfchenbew\u00e4sserung, Auffangbecken oder Vlie\u00dfmattenbew\u00e4sserung sowie geschlossene Wasserkreisl\u00e4ufe helfen bei der Einsparung von wertvollem Grundwasser.<\/p>\n<p>Da die Nachfrage nach Container-Pflanzen auf Grund der damit verbundenen Pflanzzeit zunimmt, sind \u00f6kologische Baumschulen auch in diesem Bereich eine umweltschonende und ressourcensparende Alternative.<\/p>\n<p>Die Versorgung der Geh\u00f6lze mit N\u00e4hrstoffen erfolgt durch geeignete Fruchtfolgen und Kompostwirtschaft. Im \u00f6kologischen Landbau steht vor allem die Fruchtbarkeit des Bodens im Vordergrund, alle Bewirtschaftungsma\u00dfnahmen haben sich dem unterzuordnen. Pflanzen im lebendigen Boden sind in der Lage sich auch ohne Zukauf von leicht-l\u00f6slichen N\u00e4hrstoffen ausreichend mit N\u00e4hrstoffen zu versorgen.<\/p>\n<p>Ein wesentlicher Vorteil des \u00d6kologischen Anbaus ist der konsequente Verzicht auf chemisch-sythetische Pflanzenbehandlungsmittel. Die Belastung der Umwelt wird dadurch reduziert. Der Einsatz von Pestiziden hat inzwischen zu einer Belastung s\u00e4mtlicher Umweltmedien gef\u00fchrt, sogar unseres Trinkwassers. Die jetzt z.T. die Trinkwasserversorgung bedrohenden Pestizidfunde zeigen deutlich, da\u00df nur der v\u00f6llige Verzicht auf den Einsatz von Pestiziden unsere Umwelt nachhaltig vor den Risiken des Pestizideinsatzes sch\u00fctzen kann.<\/p>\n<p>Dem dramatischen Verlust an Tierarten entgegnen die \u00d6kologischen Baumschulen durch Anpflanzung von Hecken, B\u00e4umen und Wildkrautstreifen. Diese Strukturelemente beleben die Landschaft und bieten wichtigen Lebensraum f\u00fcr viele bedrohte Arten. Gleichzeitig wird die N\u00fctzlingsfauna effizient gef\u00f6rdert.<\/p>\n<p>Die Produkte des \u00f6kologischen Landbaus werden nach strengen Anbaurichtlinien umweltfreundlich erzeugt. Dies wird durch eine konsequente Kontrolle ihrer Mitglieder durch die Verb\u00e4nde des \u00d6kologischen Landbaus und durch staatlich anerkannte Kontrollstellen garantiert.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #009966;\"><strong>Die aktuelle Situation der \u00f6kologischen Baumschulwirtschaft<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nDie Gruppe der Baumschulen, die nach den Richtlinien des \u00d6kologischen Landbaus arbeiten, ist zur Zeit noch recht klein. Vieles befindet sich noch im Aufbau und der Erfahrungsaustausch steht im Mittelpunkt. Das Problem ist, das es im Unterschied zur \u00f6kologischen Landwirtschaft einen wesentlichen Unterschied gibt. W\u00e4hrend es f\u00fcr \u00f6kologisch produzierte Nahrungsmittel ein Bewu\u00dftsein gibt und damit einen Markt, herrscht f\u00fcr \u00f6kologisch gezogene Geh\u00f6lze nur ein geringes Bewu\u00dftsein und dementsprechend kein Markt. Die gekauften Zierstr\u00e4ucher, B\u00e4ume u.s.w&#8230;. werden ja nicht \u201cgegessen\u201d. Die Verbraucher sollten aber wissen, da\u00df sie mit dem Kauf \u00f6kologisch gezogener Geh\u00f6lze kontrollierte und ges\u00fcndere Pflanzenqualit\u00e4ten erwerben und die Natur und Umwelt durch diese Anbaumethoden nachhaltig sch\u00fctzen.<\/li><br \/>\n<li id=\"3\" class=\"\">Hier ein kleiner Einblick in die \u00f6kologische Baumschulwirtschaft und unseren Betrieb:<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t<style
